These booking terms and conditions apply to all bookings for the PAT Testing Course in Portsmouth, delivered by Skills Training Group, a trading name of Training Developments Scotland Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a place on a course you agree to these terms.
1. The course
The PAT Testing Course is a one-day course (typically 9:00–16:00) delivered at Gatcombe House, Copnor Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO3 5EJ, or at another venue or your own premises by arrangement. Course content follows the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (5th Edition).
2. Fees and payment
- The course fee is £195 + VAT per learner unless otherwise agreed in writing for group or private bookings.
- Payment is taken at the time of booking via our secure booking system. Your place is confirmed once payment has been received.
- Prices are correct at the time of publication and may change for future bookings.
3. Joining instructions
Once your booking is confirmed we will email you joining instructions, including the venue address, start time and any information you need to bring. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive these.
4. Cancellations, transfers and refunds
- If you need to cancel or transfer your booking, please contact us as soon as possible at info@skillstg.co.uk or on 0808 164 2780.
- Cancellations made with at least 14 days' notice before the course date may be refunded or transferred to a later date.
- For cancellations made with less than 14 days' notice, or for non-attendance, the course fee may not be refundable, though a transfer may be offered at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a course (for example due to insufficient numbers or circumstances beyond our control). In that event you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
5. Money-back guarantee
We offer a 100% money-back guarantee: if you attend the full course and do not pass the assessment, we will refund your booking fee in full. This guarantee applies to learners who complete the course and undertake the assessment in good faith.
6. Group and private bookings
We offer discounts for group bookings and can deliver private, in-house courses at your workplace for a fixed rate. Separate terms may apply to group and private bookings and will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to arrive on time, to follow reasonable health and safety instructions on the day, and to behave in a manner that does not disrupt the learning of others. We may ask anyone behaving inappropriately to leave without a refund.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the course fee paid.
